and Scientific Management. Buried beneath the practices

For the second time, JAOO features the Doctoral Symposium, a series of talks
by ph.d. students from all over the world. The purpose of the symposium
is twofold:
on the one hand to give ph.d. students the opportunity to present their
work in a large international forum,
on the other hand to enhance a conference otherwise focused on current
practices with a more academic and long term perspective on software engineering.
